What is the Advent Adventure Club?
Throughout December, we’re on a magical mission through the World of Whimsica. Here, we discover a place full of peculiar reindeer, purring mittens, wandering snowflake ghosts, and other festive oddities.
For 25 days, you’ll be guided by daily prompts, riddles, characters, mysteries and gentle creative nudges to help you craft your own Whimsical December Tale.
This is a space for:
children
adults
families
teachers
journalers
anyone who loves imagination with a little frost on it
Write daily, write sometimes, or write whenever life lets you. There’s no “falling behind” in Whimsica.

It includes 25 days of prompts, writing pages, colouring and activity pages, and surprises.
You can print the journal, or simply use the prompts with your favourite notebook.
If a child is taking part, feel free to write alongside them; the magic works at any age.
How the Club Works
❄️ 1. Read the daily prompt
Every day from December 1st–25th, read the next prompt in your journal. If you need to, you can find further prompts, clues and hints in the Story Seeds & Secret Clues section.
❄️ 2. Write your story in your journal
You’ll gather clues, meet characters, and discover a new piece of your December mystery each day.
❄️ 3. Check in with the Advent Adventure Club
Throughout each week, I will share my own Advent Adventure, add origin stories about characters and magical items you will meet on your journey, and provide further prompts and ideas to inspire you.
❄️ 4. Share if you want to
Comments are open, so feel free to share your story snippets, drawings, questions, or character ideas. This is a warm, gentle space. Curiosity is encouraged. Perfection is not required.
❄️ 5. Go at your own pace
No pressure. No deadlines. Just magic.
